You can take a backup of your application by opening the application manager and right clicking on the application titile. From the opened menu if you click back up application, the data will also be preserved for the application. You can download the zip file (application backup) from the opened dialog.If you click on export application, the data will not be preserved and like backup you will be ablo to download the zip file (application backup) from the opened dialog.
If you click on the | Menu v| (Under application manager) a menu will be opened. In that menu you can see import application. Import application is used for using an existing application which has a backup. In other words, you should upload the backup file you took from export/backup application.
