On Admin Panel:
1. Open Application Manager and find the application and form you would like to add the search form for.
2. Right click on the form folder and choose "Add New Search Form" option.
3. Choose a name for your search form. This name will be used on the search form file created.
4. The Application Manager will refresh and then you will be able to see the new search form item under the form folder. Double click on it.
5. Drag and drop the questions you would like to have on your search form from the right side.
6. Click on the questions and scroll down on the right side to see "Properties" box for them. Inside the Properties box, you can define "Search Type" for a question. When you click on it, you will see these options: Includes: Search "inside" a field. For instance, if someone types "scuba diving and collecting stamps" in his/her profile hobbies field, then searching for "diving", this user will be in the results. Not Includes: Similar to "Includes" but this time it searches for results which does not include this word. Equals: Look for an exact match with the database entry. That means, the words entered to the search form must be exactly same as the data in the database. For instance, when we would like to do a search in male profiles, "gender" value should be exactly "male". Not Equals: Similar to "Equals" but this time it searches for results which does not equal this word. From here: Do numerical search and find entries larger than value entered. Can be used for numbers or dates. To here: Do numerical search and find entries smaller than value entered. Can be used for numbers or dates.
7. Save your search form and include it on any page like this: {TEMPLATE:profile/keyword.html} The argument has profile/keyword.html, since we created profile form and named our search form "keyword".
