Anthony Griggs understands the opportunities and challenges that diversity issues can bring to a workplace. He played for two NFL teams, and for 13 years, Anthony was the Director of Player Development for the Pittsburgh Steelers and during his tenure with this great NFL team, Anthony worked with a variety of players. Each player had vastly different racial, socio-economic, religious, and cultural differences. And yet,it was Anthony’s job to develop his athletes and help them to become more team oriented. In this workshop, Anthony will explain the various roles that employees might find themselves in while navigating diversity issues. Much like players in the game of football, employees may take on the role of a team member, coach, target, defender or even a bystander.
At the end of the session, each attendee will:
