How I Overcame My Fear of Stuttering

Living with my strutter

Keynote
Program
Target Audience: People who want to overcome challenges, HR, DEI, Everyday People Why This Is Important: Over 70 million people worldwide stutter. It is a very common but misunderstood disability. Many believe that folks who have a speech impediment are incapable, not good communicators, or unintelligent, but that is not the case. We are very smart people who lead companies, are great athletes, notable actors, and important community members. This talk is about my journey of moving past my fear of talking, embracing my stutter, and using it as my superpower, and not my detriment. What people will gain from this talk: That your shortcomings are not you, but a small part of you. Many obstacles in our lives can be overcame by reframing it and realizing that it is all in your mind.
