Adaptability: The New Competitive Edge

Program
"Adaptability is the capacity to adjust one's thoughts and behaviors in order to effectively respond to uncertainty, new information, or changed circumstances." "As a disposition and skill, adaptability is essential to an individual's psychological health, social success, and academic or workplace achievement." Many leaders are aware of IQ and EQ. Now, the third piece of the puzzle has materialized. AQ, or Adaptability Quotient, was developed by researchers in Australia and is now available. While the idea of adaptability is not new, it can now be quantified. As Peter Drucker reminds us, "If you can't measure it, you can't improve it." This presentation breaks down the various dimensions of Adaptability (Ability, Character, and Environment), while discussing its benefits in today's fast-paced V.U.C.A. world (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous). Finally, we will discuss how business leaders and entrepreneurs must move beyond their current Adaptability level and coach their teams to be more adaptable in all situations. This topic is being presented to develop the audience's skills in adapting and navigating change. The goal is to guide leaders in building a more positive relationship with the constant change we face in today's world.
