I’m a comedian, speaker, writer, and soldier with three tours of duty in Iraq. In 24 years of military service, I’ve served in the Regular Army and National Guard and continue to serve in the Army Reserves. I started out as a medic holding the rank of Private, yet today I have risen to the rank of Major. I grew up very poor. My parents divorced when I was two. My father was blind and died when I was just eight. Additionally, I am a lifelong stutterer, and I recently went through a divorce, yet my motto in life is “Adapt and Overcome.” I have a very interesting story to tell that will no doubt inspire, yet bring laughter throughout my program. Through it all, I've adapted to and overcome every obstacle put in my way to be successful and so can you! At times, it's been fun and it's been challenging, but I believe that each of us has the innate ability to reach down deep to adapt to and overcome just about anything thrown our way. When I was a kid, people made fun of me for the way I spoke, yet today, people pay to hear me speak. Life is good.
