Worst Decisions of the Supreme Court

Keynote
Program
This book provides a history of the United States through its court decisions. It was a unanimous Supreme Court that decided that women did have the right to vote despite no mention of gender in the Constitution. The court also determined that African Americans did not have any rights and that separate trains cars from blacks was Constitutional. The court allowed the U.S. government to imprison Japanese-Americans even if they were American citizens. Now the court has given President Trump immunity from prosecutive that no prevision president ever sought. The court has given corporations more rights than individuals. Even though the Second Amendment does not guarantee the right to bear arms, the court has overturned state gun control laws.

How to Avoid Plastic

Recent studies have shown that humans now have plastic in their brains, blood vessels and internal organs. Much of this plastic gets into our bodies from how we eat, how we prepare food, how we heat food, the water we drink and how we brush our teeth. Avoiding Plastic explains how plastic gets into our bodies. For example, when we use plastic cutting boards small plastic particles get mixed into our food. Plastic water bottles contain millions of microplastic particles.
